Chief Alaja who said many had thought he would not be able to adapt into the new office as a technocrat who had been living in Australia for so many years said notwithstanding he has remained a lover of his culture and his people.
He however noted that it was quite unfortunate that the area had for long witness slow pace of development for so many reasons.

He further assured the people that their welfare and the development of the area will be prioritized. ” I am a politician/businessman and with this position which I see as another call to duty, my focus now must necessarily be grass rooted, the welfare of my people and the development of my locality has become more than ever before germaine, I intend to work closely with my community leaders, Chiefs and my able King to engender positive developments by God’s grace” he added, just as he thanked everyone for making the dream a reality.

“I give glory to God almighty for this achievement. I want to thank all the youth of Alako family who worked day and night towards the realization of this Installation. I also thank all my brothers and sisters, all the family elders who endorsed my candidacy, all Ikare sons and daughters home and abroad who supported me, my lovely wife, Mrs Taiwo Olanrewaju Abraham and my King Owa Ale Adimula of Ikare Akoko, Oba Adeleke Adegbite Adedoyin who accepted my nomination and installed me”
