Born in Lagos to a Nigerian father and Ghanaian mother, Adeola Ariyo began modelling as a teenager after being scouted for London Fashion Week, going on to work internationally.
She competed in the 2005 Nokia Face of Africa competition and became a fixture of the African modelling scene. In 2014 she was named Elizabeth Arden’s first-ever African ambassador.
Beyond modelling, Ariyo expanded into television, hosting the beauty competition series Hair Knockout, and has been active in philanthropy.
