Afro+ Fest 2026 Lands Stacked Lineup With Wizkid, Davido, Tems and Ayra Starr

Afrobeats’ biggest names are heading to the United States. Tems and Ayra Starr have been added as headliners for Afro+ Fest 2026, joining a bill already topped by Wizkid, Davido and Alkaline.

The festival runs September 4 through 6 at the Northwest Stadium Complex in Landover, Maryland, over the Labor Day weekend — a prime slot that underlines just how far Afrobeats has travelled into the American mainstream.

Beyond the headliners, the lineup reads like a crossover dream: Lil Baby, Latto, Chief Keef, Sexyy Red, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Adekunle Gold, Sarkodie, Ruger, Victony and more are all billed to perform across the three days.

The blend of Afrobeats, Amapiano, dancehall and US hip-hop reflects how festival promoters now see the genre — not as a niche add-on, but as a headline draw capable of carrying a marquee weekend. For Nigerian music, it is another sign that the diaspora market has become just as important as the home crowd.
