Gunmen have killed four people in Kaduna, says Kaduna Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs. The four were killed in separate attacks on three Igabi, Chikun, and Kajuru local government areas.
According to a statement by the Commissioner of Internal Security, Samuel Aruwan, security officials reported the attack by bandits in Kaju, where they raided the community in dozens and killed two relatives, Nuhu Ishaya and Yakubu Ishaya.
Two other people were killed (Harrisu Ibrahim and Samiru Na Ya’u) in Igabi and Kajuru. Bandits also attacked Chikun but were repelled by vigilantes.Meanwhile, Governor Nasir El-Rufai has expressed worry over the security challenges faced in the state and tasked security agencies to conduct an investigation into the attacks.
