Truck Crushes Two to Death in Kwara

On Sunday, a tragic accident claimed the lives of two individuals, one of whom was an unidentified military officer and the other a sugarcane vendor. The incident occurred in Jebba, within the Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State.

As reported by Punch Metro, the accident took place at a checkpoint within the town, where a resident revealed that the vehicle had veered off the road before colliding with the victims.

The sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Frederick Ogidan, confirmed the accident on Sunday, stating, “It was a solitary accident involving a DAF truck that lost control and collided with the victims.”

He further explained, “Four people were affected, all of them were males, but tragically, two lost their lives while the other two escaped without injury.”
