Bashir El-Rufai, a son of former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai, has publicly attacked his elder brother, House of Representatives member Mohammed Bello El-Rufai.
The cause of the apparent family dispute was unclear at the time of reporting.
In a post on his X account on Saturday morning, Bashir hurled insults at the lawmaker and accused him of substance abuse.
The outburst drew mixed reactions from his followers, several of whom urged him not to air a family quarrel on social media.
One commenter advised him to settle the matter privately rather than on the courts or social media, questioning the wisdom of the public spat.
