ADC chieftain and former Kogi West senator Dino Melaye says the 2027 election gives Nigerians a chance to decide the kind of leader they want.
In a post on X, Melaye framed the vote as a choice between “light and darkness,” asking whether Nigerians preferred a sincere democrat or, in his words, a liar and “alleged drug lord.”
He listed a series of contrasts — competence versus incompetence, a pan-Nigerian versus a “tribal jingoist,” and a leader concerned about citizens’ welfare versus one indifferent to their pain.
The comments continue the ADC’s sharpening rhetoric ahead of the 2027 race.
