Ogun State governor’s aide Farooq Adenugba says the 2027 general election will be decided by sustained grassroots engagement and organisation, not slogans or last-minute mobilisation.
The Special Adviser on Housing, OPIC and Special Projects made the remark in Ago-Iwoye, where he inaugurated his political team and joined a youth mentorship programme.
The event, themed “Failing Forward” and hosted by lawmaker Segun Kaka, saw Adenugba counsel secondary school students not to let setbacks define their future.
“A setback should never become a full stop in your life,” he told them, urging resilience, discipline and education as keys to success.
