ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has pledged to implement the Oronsaye Report if he wins the 2027 election, calling it a clear roadmap to cut waste and the cost of governance.
In a statement by his spokesman Kenneth Okonkwo, Atiku accused President Bola Tinubu of failing to act on the report despite promising to, and of instead multiplying government agencies.
He said he would begin implementing the report immediately after inauguration, starting with a transparent audit of all government agencies and their purposes.
Atiku promised to scrap unnecessary agencies, merge overlapping ones, plug leakages and redirect the savings to healthcare, education, infrastructure and jobs.
