The presidential candidate of the Democratic Leadership Alliance, Moses Adebisi, has declared himself the right person to defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election.
Speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Thursday, Adebisi said Nigerians were being oppressed by leaders who showed little concern for the welfare of ordinary citizens.
He said criticism that he could not fix Nigeria’s problems while based in the United States had pushed him to study the factors behind political success and national transformation.
According to him, he travelled to China to examine the reforms of 1978 that turned the country into a global economic power, visiting Beijing and Shanghai, and also studied the United States’ Liberty Agenda of 1774.
Adebisi said the knowledge gained from those studies had prepared him for the task of leading Nigeria.
