Born in Malaba, Kenya, Chanel Ayan built a modelling career after moving abroad as a teenager, eventually settling in Dubai. She has worked with luxury houses including Chanel, Cartier, Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana.
She was the first Black model to front advertising for Emirates and Dubai’s tourism authority, and later reached a wider audience as a cast member of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Dubai. She also runs her own beauty line.
