Born in Mombasa and raised partly in Britain, Malaika Firth broke through when she became the first Black model in almost two decades to appear in a Prada advertising campaign in 2013.
She followed it with campaigns for Valentino and Burberry, a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show appearance, and runway work for Jean Paul Gaultier, Bottega Veneta and Marc Jacobs. She is represented internationally, with Premier Model Management in London.
