Super Falcons Arrange Tanzania Friendly In Final WAFCON Tune-Up

Nigeria’s Super Falcons will take on Tanzania in an international friendly on Thursday as part of their final preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The fixture will be played at the La Noria Sports Complex in Casablanca, with kick-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m. local time.

Head coach Justine Madugu is expected to use the encounter to assess the readiness of his squad ahead of the continental showpiece.

The friendly comes after an earlier plan to play Ghana’s Black Queens last Saturday was called off due to unforeseen circumstances.

Once the Tanzania game is done, the Nigerian delegation will travel to Rabat for their Group C assignments.

The nine-time African champions will open their title defence against Malawi at the Al Madina Stadium next Tuesday.

Zambia and Egypt make up the rest of the group as the Falcons chase yet another continental crown.
