Asked about the long-running GOAT debate, the Real Madrid legend said, as quoted by Marca, that anyone still in doubt “does not belong in football society.”
At 39, Messi remains the most decorated player in the sport, having won every major trophy including the World Cup and the Champions League. He recently retired from the Argentina national team after leading them to the World Cup final.
