Fulham are working to hand Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey a new long-term contract, according to reports.
Bassey has a year left on his current deal, with an option to extend to 2028, but the Cottagers reportedly want to tie him down for longer.
The 26-year-old, widely rated among the Premier League’s best defenders, joined from Ajax in 2023, won the club’s Player of the Season award in 2024/25, and has started all three league games under new manager Álvaro Arbeloa this term.
