Bauchi PDP rejects APM alliance, dismisses rival faction

The Peoples Democratic Party in Bauchi State has ruled out any alliance with the Allied Peoples Movement, dismissing reports that a rival faction had merged into the APM.

State Chairman Ibrahim Kashim Toro told journalists in Bauchi that those who announced the move were no longer legitimate members, alleging they had been expelled well before the development.

Toro maintained that his group remains the authentic PDP in the state, citing court judgments in its favour, and said the party had already fielded and uploaded candidates for all elective offices for 2027 on the INEC portal.
