Osun guber: APC moves to withdraw petition against Adeleke's win

The All Progressives Congress and its governorship candidate in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, have moved to withdraw their petition challenging Governor Ademola Adeleke’s victory in the August 15 election.

Their counsel, Seyi Oyagbile, filed the withdrawal motion, dated September 8, at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Osogbo.

The move came days after two petitions were listed on the tribunal’s notice board — one by Oyebamiji and the APC, and another by the PDP — with Adeleke, the Accord party and INEC named among the respondents.
