Lagos socialite Afolabi Kazeem, popularly known as KC Luxury, has sued the NDLEA for N190 million in damages over his arrest and continued detention.
He is also asking the Federal High Court to grant him bail while he challenges the detention.
His arrest followed the agency’s seizure of 184.5kg of cocaine from a courier company in Lagos.
The NDLEA chairman, however, described him as a “cartel leader” who intended to flee the country on a business-class flight to Paris.
