Nigeria's Friday Etim Wins Danish Superliga Player Of The Month For September

Nigerian striker Friday Etim has been named Danish Superliga Player of the Month for September after a strong run of form for FC Midtjylland, scoring three goals and providing one assist, plus a goal in the Danish Cup against Sundby BK.

The 24-year-old beat out FC Copenhagen’s Diant Ramaj and Asger Sørensen to claim the award — his first Superliga Player of the Month honour since arriving in Denmark.

“I’m happy with the award. It’s been a good September for me. Of course, you’re happy to score three goals as a striker because that’s the way I can help the team, among other things,” Etim told Midtjylland’s official website.
