Nigeria’s refiners and depot owners are under pressure to lower ex-depot petrol prices following a drop in global crude oil prices.
The decline puts the Dangote Refinery and depot operators — whose prices rose last week — under fresh scrutiny to reverse the increase.
Depot owners including Soroman, Bono, Aiteo, Techno Oil and Optima raised ex-depot prices to between N1,200 and N1,215 per litre.
At the pumps, MRS, NNPCL and other retailers are selling petrol at between N1,230 and N1,275 per litre around Abuja.
