Dangote Refinery lifts petrol price by N65 per litre

Dangote Refinery has raised its gantry petrol price to N1,265 per litre, an increase of N65, amid a surge in fuel imports.

A market survey by DAILY POST confirmed the new price at the refinery’s loading gantry.

The refinery has blamed the midstream regulator, NMDPRA, for the rise in imports, noting that July data showed imports accounting for 43.3% of supply against its 56.7%.

The increase could push pump prices higher, with filling stations in Abuja currently selling between N1,230 and N1,275 per litre.
