The Akwa Ibom Police Command says its operatives have arrested a suspected armed robber who allegedly stole a tricycle at gunpoint along Mbak Itam in Uyo.
Command spokesperson DSP Timfon John said recovered items included the tricycle, a laptop, a PS4, a power bank, phone chargers, face caps and clothing.
According to the police, a tricycle with two passengers failed to stop at a stop-and-search point and sped off, prompting a chase.
The two passengers reportedly jumped out and fled, while the rider was apprehended.
