The Kaduna State Police Command says it has dismantled bandit camps during a clearance operation in Makarfi Local Government Area.
The operation was carried out on 29 August by police operatives working with the Kaduna State Vigilance Service.
Spokesperson DSP Mansir Hassan said residents’ tips helped locate suspected camps around Durum and Danguzuri, near the Kano State boundary.
Two structures believed to have been used to hold abducted victims, at Rugar Mijin Goggo and Unguwar Maryamu, were destroyed.
